Champions Comic Series - Young Adult | Superhero | Supernatural | Horror

Dylan Jacobson is the writer, penciler, and inker for all six issues of his self-published comic series, Champions. He also colored issue six. Champions takes place in downtown Sioux Falls, and is a dark and gritty story of four off-beat superheroes coming together to face their foes and personal problems.

Meg and The Eggstraordinary Egg - Middle Grade Educational | Agriculture | Science

Meg and the Eggstraordinary Egg was written by Syndey Kehret, with editing and illustration by Dylan Jacobson. Meg is a twelve page, educational story on the differences in egg coloration. It was funded and published by the Iowa Agriculture Literacy Foundation (IALF). It’s digital release is free for online distribution. Physical copies can be obtained by reaching out to IALF.

Unstoppable Ivy Comic Sampler - Middle Grade Fiction | Supernatural | Action | Comedy

Unstoppable Ivy is a comic sampler for a series that has yet to be picked up by a publisher. It follows Ivy as they escape the clutches of death after stealing his powerful scythe. Unstoppable Ivy is written, penciled, inked, and colored by Dylan Jacobson.

DinoBoy & Rex Sampler - Early Reader Fiction | Fantasy | Action Comedy

DinoBoy & Rex was written for the One Comic to Rule Them All anthology. Since then it has been worked on as a pitch for publication. DinoBoy & Rex is written by Dylan Jacobson, illustrated by Lamont Hunt, with graphics by Travis Bentley.

Together With Goblins - All Ages Coloring Book | Fantasy | Comic Mischief

Together With Goblins is a coloring book created with support from Dylan’s sponsors, Game Chest and Adventure Academy Daycare. It features numerous goblins in a variety of settings and behaviors. The coloring book was illustrated by Dylan Jacobson.

Dylan works on both all-ages and adult fantasy art. He’s worked with numerous clients including Iowa’s Van Meter Vistor Festival and the Camelot Theater.

Board Games

WaterSavers! - 6th Grade+ Educational | Environmental Issues | Science | Activism

In collaboration with Upper Iowa University’s Environmental Issues Instruction, Dylan assisted in designing the educational board game, WaterSavers! Dylan’s most prominent role in developing the game was providing art for the characters, as well as graphics.
